Your Personal Reading Space
Reading progress, journal notes, sermon notes and drawings, personal prayer requests, Bible markings, and preferences are stored on your device. If you use iCloud, Apple’s private CloudKit database syncs this personal data between your devices.
You can use personal reading features without a community account.
Optional Community Features
Creating a community account sends your email address, chosen display name, and account identifier to Google Firebase. Firebase Authentication manages your password.
Circles use Firebase Firestore to store membership, invitations, reading status, streaks, encouragements, shared prayers, blocks, and abuse reports.
A circle’s members can see its shared content and display names. Share an invite only with people you trust; anyone with the code can request to join.
Prayer Requests
A personal prayer request stays in your personal reading space. A request posted inside a circle is shared with that circle.
Prayer text can reveal sensitive beliefs or personal circumstances. Include other people’s information only with their permission.
Widgets, Apple Watch, Reminders, and Backups
Your widget reads reading information from this app’s shared storage.
When paired, your Apple Watch receives reading information through Apple Watch Connectivity and can send completion changes to your phone.
Reminders use local notifications.
Backups and exports contain personal data. They leave the app only when you choose where to save or share them. Full backups do not contain your Firebase password or community account.
Retention and Deletion
Personal data stays until you delete it. Reset Personal Data in Settings clears the selected personal records, including through iCloud sync. Save a full backup first.
Delete Account in Community removes the Firebase sign-in account and associated community data, leaves joined circles, and disbands circles you own.
Personal reading data remains available unless you also reset it. You control exported copies and must delete those separately.
Service-provider backups may expire on their own retention schedules. A temporary security marker blocks old sign-in tokens after account deletion; it expires after 24 hours and is removed by the service’s cleanup process.
Community Safety
You can report shared content and block other members. Reports go to a private moderation queue for review by Dandelion Chaos Publishing.
For urgent concerns or deletion help, contact the support address below.
Blocking hides that member’s content from your community views. Other circle members can still see it.
Advertising and Tracking
This app does not use advertising or cross-app tracking. Firebase and Apple process data needed to operate the features you choose.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your Choices
You can decline notification permission, use the app without community sign-in, leave circles, export personal data, reset personal records, or delete your community account.
