Because sometimes even the best scents aren’t your vibe.

At Dandelion Chaos Scents, we want your nose (and soul) to be delighted. But if your candle arrived more “uh-oh” than “ahhh,” don’t worry — we’ve got your back. Below is our friendly, no-fuss return policy.


Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items

Was your candle a little too chaotic in transit?

We pack everything with love and bubble wrap, but occasionally the universe throws a plot twist. If your candle arrives broken, melted, missing, or looking like it’s been on a wild adventure:

  • Snap a photo of the issue (damaged box, broken candle, etc.).
  • Email us within 14 days of delivery at scents@dandelionchaos.com.
  • We’ll replace it, refund it, or send a baby goat to cheer you up. (Okay, maybe not the goat — but definitely a replacement or refund.)

IMPORTANT: You must email us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)before sending anything back. Returns received without an RMA may be refused or delayed.


No Nose Left Behind – But We Don’t Do Returns for Used Candles

Sniff regret is real. We totally understand that sometimes a scent just doesn’t match your expectations.

Unfortunately, because our candles are handmade and burnable (and we're not a candle thrift store), we can’t accept returns on used or burnt candles.

If you’re unhappy with your purchase, still reach out — we may offer store credit to ease your scent sadness, though that is not guaranteed.


Unused Returns (If You Changed Your Mind)

Changed your mind before lighting that wick? No problem.

  • Candles must be unused and in original packaging.
  • You must request an RMA by emailing scents@dandelionchaos.com before sending anything back.
  • Must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund (yes, even scent rebellion has its cost).
  • Adequate packaging is required to prevent damage during the return journey — we’re not responsible for items broken en route back to us.
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless it’s our oopsie.

Refunds

Once we receive your return (or verify damage), your refund will be:

  • Processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
  • Or, we can issue store credit if you’re already eyeing your next chaotic scent adventure.


Final Sale Items

Mystery boxes, seasonal launches, or limited-run chaos candles are final sale — no returns unless damaged in transit.
